A feature of the Starry Plough since 1980, the Monday night ceili is full of high-energy jigs, reels, and polkas. We welcome those of all skill levels to join us and learn how to participate in traditional group dances (with some non-traditional flairs).
The evening begins at 6:45 with a lesson for beginners and advanced dancers alike to learn new dances or refresh their knowledge of old favorites. At 8:45, the live music starts and the dancing begins in earnest! The ceili alternates between beginner and advanced dances to make sure everyone can get the most out of the evening.
We ask that you please be fully vaccinated if you plan to attend, as there is plenty of close contact. $5 suggested donation. Code of conduct here.
