The Modern Age is a group of friends (and fellow dads) who found each other through a shared love of the songs that defined late nights and good times. Drawn together by a passion for the indie-rock, alternative hits, and synth-pop favorites of the late ’80s to early 2000s, we formed a band to jam these songs—celebrating nostalgia and the joy of playing music we love…also, admittedly, it’s a fantastic cover for having a beer or two with friends.
We’ve played parties and events in the bay area and most recently in Hawaii. We love creating a memorable, good time for everyone involved!
The Itch is a classic rock cover band formed by musicians who spent years saying they should jam together—and eventually followed through. That familiar pull to plug in, turn up, and play the songs that first got us hooked is what gives the band its name. Built around three vocalists and a guitar-driven sound, The Itch covers The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, and Neil Young, bringing energy and feel to songs people know by heart. The focus is on groove, strong harmonies, and playing the music the way it’s meant to be played: live, loud, and without overthinking it. It’s classic rock for people who still feel the pull of these songs—and aren’t quite ready to let it go.
